Courchevel 1850 is the highest of the four Courchevel altitude villages and the most luxurious ski destination in Europe. Reached via FFGR Jets to Chambéry or Annecy, then helicopter to Courchevel altiport (the world's most demanding civil airport approach), or by driver on the winter-tyre-only road from Chambéry. Cheval Blanc Courchevel, Les Airelles and L'Apogée define the village's hospitality. December-March, weekly chartering recommended.
