Lochs, glens and shooting estates.
The Scottish Highlands — lochs, glens, sporting estates, single-malt distilleries — are reached via private jet to Inverness or Wick, then by driver or helicopter onwards. The Federation coordinates shooting weekends (grouse season opens August 12th, the Glorious Twelfth), salmon fishing on the Spey or Tay, whisky pilgrimages to Macallan, Glenfiddich and Glenlivet, and stays at Skibo Castle (Carnegie Club) or Inverlochy Castle.
