The Distinctions

Marks of Belonging and Rank

A Federation distinction is earned through certification, never bought — it is conferred upon the professional who has met the standard, and upon no one else.

A distinction is not an ornament. It is a statement of standing. Each one reflects a grade attained, a craft certified, and a delegation served — the three measures by which the Federation recognises a professional of the Grande Remise. Worn on the lapel, set upon the dashboard, or borne upon the vehicle, it vouches for its holder without a word: that this chauffeur, this close-protection officer, this concierge has been examined, certified, and admitted to the order. It is a mark of membership, and membership is the only way to wear it.

How the System Is Read

The Federation codifies every distinction along three axes: métier, grade, and délégation. The métier names the craft certified — chauffeur, close protection, concierge. The délégation names the territory served, from Paris to Monaco, London to Dubai. The grade names the rank attained, and it is read at a glance, by the metal and by the mark. Together, the three form a single, legible language of standing. One need only look to know what a member has earned, where, and to what degree of excellence the Federation has confirmed.

MétierGradeDélégation

Bronze — Promotion

The first rank of the order. Bronze marks the professional newly certified by the Federation — admitted, examined, and confirmed in the fundamentals of the craft. It is the foundation upon which standing is built, and the proof that the standard has been met.

Silver — Excellence

The rank of proven excellence. Silver recognises the member who has advanced beyond the fundamentals — whose service has been measured over time and found consistent, accomplished, and worthy of distinction. It marks a professional the Federation holds as a reference for the craft.

Gold — Prestige

The rank of prestige. Gold is conferred upon the member of sustained distinction — one whose mastery, discretion, and conduct place them among the foremost of their métier. It signals a professional whose name the Federation is prepared to stand behind, in the highest service.

Gold & Laurel — Souverain

The sovereign rank. Gold framed in laurel is the highest distinction the Federation confers — reserved for the rare professional who embodies the order entire: certified excellence, exemplary service, and an authority recognised across delegations. It is the summit of belonging, and it is earned, never given.

The Objects of Distinction

The Lapel Pin

The Lapel Pin

The most discreet of the distinctions. Worn upon the lapel, it carries the rising half-sun and the mark of the member's grade — a quiet sign, legible to those who know it. It declares membership without display, in the manner of the order itself.

The Dashboard Medallion

The Dashboard Medallion

Set upon the dashboard, in view of the passenger, the medallion confirms that the vehicle is served by a certified member of the Federation. It bears the emblem and the grade, and it stands as the assurance, given in silence, that the journey is placed in confirmed hands.

The Metal Member Card

The Metal Member Card

The card of membership, struck in metal — and the metal itself changes by grade, so that rank is read in the hand. It bears the member's identity and a discreet code that links to their verified digital card, allowing standing to be confirmed at a glance, anywhere the Federation is known.

The Official Wallet

The Official Wallet

The wallet that carries the member's card and credentials, marked with the rising half-sun of the order. It is the keeper of the distinctions — the object in which membership is held, presented, and protected — fashioned to the same standard as the rank it accompanies.

The Vehicle Macaron

The Vehicle Macaron

The mark borne upon the vehicle, declined by delegation — Paris, Monaco, Dubai, London — so that the territory served is named alongside the order. It identifies the vehicle as one entrusted to a certified member, and carries the Federation's emblem into the street, discreet and unmistakable.

Maison Grande Remise

The Federation confers; the Maison fashions. Each distinction is crafted by the house Maison Grande Remise, which renders rank in metal, leather, and enamel to a single, exacting standard. The Federation grants the right to wear the mark; the Maison ensures the mark is worthy of what it signifies.

Earn Your Distinction

The distinctions are reserved for certified members. Professionals of the Grande Remise — chauffeurs, close-protection officers, concierges — are invited to present their candidacy to the Federation, to be examined, certified, and admitted to the order.
